Statements from Others

President Bush says, "They hate ...a democratically elected government..They hate our freedoms --Freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other."President George W. Bush Address to a Joint Session of Congress and the American People Bin Laden says, "the White House hiding the Truth ... the reality is that we are striking them because of their evil and injustice in the whole of the Islamic World, especially in Iraq and Palestine and their occupation of the Land of the Two Holy Sanctuaries (Arabian Peninsula)." Previous CIA Bin Laden Unit Chief Michael Scheuer has honestly stated that politicans are lying to the American people about the terrorists motive, "The politicians really are at great fault for not squaring with the American people. We're being attacked for what we do in the Islamic world, not for who we are or what we believe in or how we live. And there's a huge burden of guilt to be laid at Mr. Bush, Mr. Clinton, both parties for simply lying to the American people."

Jason Burke, author of Al-Qaeda: The True Story of Radical Islam, makes the point that, "Bin Laden is an activist with a very clear sense of what he wants and how he hopes to achieve it. Those means may be far outside the normal of political activity as we usually understand it, but his agenda is a basically political one, though it is couched, of course, in religious language and imagery." He says bin Laden's aim is "to end the repression of the Islamic world by the hypocrite governments and the 'Crusader-Zionist' alliance supporting and manipulating them."

Responsability

As media covered the 9/11 attacks describing many quickly wounder that Bin Laden was behind the attacks. In many hours of the attacks, the FBI was able to decide the names and in many cases the details like the dates of birth, known and/or possible residences, visa status, and specific identity of the suspected pilots and hijackers. WHY DIDINT OUR FBI, CIA AND MILITARY PROTECT US?

President Clinton asked two attack submarines to stand watch over the Taliban and bin Laden's terrorists. Bush ordered the sub to stand down. Bush have eliminated those safeguards. There was a former CIA agent that appered on BBC TV saying that "We were just told, You get caught spying on the Saudis or looking into affairs, and you will lose your head!". The agents have said that Bush have turned a "blind eye" to terrorism by ordering the CIA and FBI to back off the Saudi terror suspects like Osama bin Laden's brothers.FBI Agents and Minneapolis Chief Counsel Coleen Rowley wrote "The Minneapolis agents who responded to the call about Moussaoui's flight training identified him as a terrorist threat from a very early point." Rowley's memo confirmed that the FBI knew alot to arrest the terrorist before the accident of 9/11.
If bush didint have nothing to do with 9/11 then why would he stop the FBI or the CIA investigating on what was going on. If he was really looking after our safety he would have took more actions then what he did. Even though we really dont know what is really going on because the president or anyone else want to tell us I think that the president is hidding something bigger then we expect because he would just stop paying for things to protect the country if it wouldnt help him or benefit him in some way.

WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?

If theres nothing to hide then why is George Bush blocking a full public inquiry into 9/11. Richard Cheney threatens Democrats to keep quiet. The people have the rights and know what happened. " Senator Bob Torricelli added " We do not meet our responsibilities to the American people if we do not take an honest look at the federal government and all of its agencies and let the country know what went wrong." Republicans "quietly set aside legislation that would establish an independent commission to investigate the terrorist of Sept. 11, 2001."
Certain memebers of Congress maintain control over the investigation is what matters. How about the families of those murdered in the Sept. 11 want an independent investigation. It also doesnt matter that theres any intelligence and security experts that believe an independent investigation is the wisest course for the country. How about the limited scope of the congressional investigation will fail to adress important concerns like the transportation security and immigration among others.
